With a lot of misgivings, I'm putting my passion project up for sale. This car is truly a complete project - there's virtually nothing left that can be done to it, save for maybe FI (which I really didn't want to do to a DD.)

I have an upcoming job change that will require commuting via train, and I can walk to the station. I presently have 2 cars - there's no reason for me to keep this one, it would be a silly indulgence.

I know, first of all, that mods do very little to increase the value of a car, which is why I'm simply listing it at the high end of book value. I know I could get (a lot!) more by parting it out, but I simply don't have the time or inclination; it would break my heart. That said, the mods on here are top dollar, high quality (or OEM!) and lend this car the street presence of a brand-new vehicle - it truly holds its own with anything south of $50k, especially with the g37s front end / tinted tails / akebonos / DRLs.

With zero exaggeration, the price i'm asking is less than the money I spent on mods.

It's always been maintained at the local infiniti dealer, and has had zero mechanical issues, ever. It's presently still under warranty until September, or another 22k miles. Oil changes every 3k. Was purchased as an infiniti certified car, and I purchased the extra warranty on top.

Zero issues. Nearly every major wear item or component on the car is new within the past 18 months - brakes, wheels, tires, exhaust, intake.

The car is extremely fast - with the HFCs, full exhaust, intake, and uprev, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it's faster than a stock g37.

Also, this exhaust combination was chosen specifically for sound - it seriously sounds just a step short of an exotic. it turns heads everywhere, and I get complimented on the exhaust tone wherever I go.

The tpms light is presently on, but it's just one sensor out of whack - i'll have it resynched as soon as I can get to the dealer. It has 4 new (1 year) sensors installed when I got my rims.

The car was in a few minor accidents, but both were low-speed (literally under 5mph), requiring cosmetics only. I have all paperwork.

Aestheically, 2 rims have a little curbage. I'll include a full set of rimguards that I haven't yet installed that will cover it up.

On to the rationale - I started with an 08 for very specific reasons.

#1 - I hate the 10+ rear diffuser. I think it's ugly.
#2 - I really dislike the 7 speed tranny, I think it doesn't suit the motor well at all. The 5 speed is a gas guzzler, but has the right sense of urgency for the car.
#3 - I wanted stone seats, but hate stone plastics. My grand vision for the interior was to create the look of the gtr (stone seats, all else black,) and it looks great.
#4 - purple halos on the gauges. Nuff said

That said, I switched the door panels (including the high gloss maple trim) console, and nav (!!) unit to that from a 2011. This is quite possibly the only v36 with a full v37 dash, interior, and nav unit.

I'm not in a rush, there are no financial constraints here, so if I don't get any bites, I'll just part it out, sadly. I'm not selling at a fire sale price.

Frankly, the price for the car is somewhat ridiculous (for the right buyer!) in hopes that it will actually sell quickly, because it would be silly for it to just sit in my driveway. I truly want someone to buy it that will appreciate the insane amount of work and attention to detail that went in to it. Many of the mods are the best of the best available, and were purchased without regard to cost.

Happy to have a pre purchase inspection at any infiniti dealer of your choice, locally, as it's still under infiniti warranty.

open to offers, would much rather sell as a complete car, but if it doesn't go within the next few days, just going to suck it up and part it out.
