Thanks Lt8Che. Yeah the car is in great shape aside from the blown engine. Plus at this point the mods are limited to just the clutch kit and suspension/wheels/brakes, so there is a lot of freedom for the buyer to make it their own. I would keep the car, replace the engine, and go from there, but unfortunately I just don't have the finances right now to be working on a project car.

Cnote1115, thank you for the reply and offer. $10k is a little too low for what I can go, the vehicle has been appraised for $13.5k even with the blown engine. Are you able to come up to $12k? Also, curious as to where you are located?

Who appraised it at $13.5K? Was the $15K asking originally before the blown motor? $15K with the working motor, would've had me interested.

The $13.5k appraisal for the vehicle in the as-is condition came from both the bank that was the lien holder (I paid off the loan and own the vehicle outright now), and Autotrader. I put it up for $15k because between what I owed on the car at the time the engine blew and the money I had just put into it for the new transmission and other parts came out to $17k, so I'm trying to recover from my loss the best that I can.
