Lots of inquiries. I think I've come to the realization that no one can obtain a loan for a $30K+ car. I might be relegated to trading in the car. Grim reality......blows..........

That's funny. The most serious buyer I had actually opted for a used 2007 911. Have you been shopping for the same car/specs for some time now? I'm curious to know what the average price the car is being listed at.

Wow that's weird haha. Well the 911 I'm selling is a 79, my asking price is 20,000. The g37 your selling is the car I've been wanting for years and finally have a chance to make it happen...

First thing, congrats on being a new dad!!!
One thought. All hope may not be lost. Check this out...it lists all the rear-facing baby seats that fit in the coupe. Infiniti Ownership | Snug Kids Safety Seat Fit Guide | Infiniti USA
It probably wouldn't hurt to check some of these seats and do a test-fitting to see if they can work for you. Babies R Us will let you take a seat out to the parking lot and test fit. I had a rear-facing Graco snugride in my Audi A5 coupe (which I recently traded for my G coupe). It worked well.
If your wife/g-friend has a car that can better accomodate, you could get away with that for the first year. You can fit a rear facing baby seat in the G coupe, but the passenger seat will have to be pushed forward nearly all the way. It is possible. Once you get to a forward facing seat (after 1 year and 20lbs weight) it will fit easily in your coupe. I have one in my G coupe for my 15 month old.
In the end, if you can make it work for the first year of your child's life, than you can keep the coupe and not take a bath trying to sell or trade it.
Good luck!
