2014 Infiniti G37 Spy VIDEO
I just happened to be looking around and came across this G37 Spy Video done by Motor Authority, the link is here.
While the spy car being shown, is certainly nothing new, there is a glimpse of another car that LOOKS like an Infiniti that zips through the screen around +/- 1:41.

Hope this hasn't been discussed yet - All the articles mention an "updated" VQ. Anyone heard elsewhere what that means? While I think the current engine is a great one in my G, I would like to see more low end torque and something a bit smoother. That would require drastic changes to the current platform (I assume) but one can always hope. 6MT in the AWD version would be great too but I can't see that happening with their history.

I'd also like to see the new version have a 6MT XS.

No it's not..if you look at any of the other spy photos of the new G under wraps the front and tail looks the same as in this video. Check out the autoblog pics from the desert:

On one of the flybys in the video, you can clearly hear that signature VQ tone coming from the exhaust as it speeds around the curve. You can also clearly see two seperate exhaust pipes coming together under the rear, so it's definitely a V6 in that car. Of course, there's rumours on all the other possible engines, but I'm fairly certain Infiniti will be offering an updated VQ37 as one of the options (thinking the 2.0 liter Mec turbo as the low end high mpg option, diesel option (maybe only in europe), and a refined/tuned VQ with a few more horses on the top end), as well as the 35h hybrid option on the top end.
I hope whatever they're doing, they make sure it performs a little better than the new 335i, ATS 3.6, etc. They certainly have had the time on their side.
