Release of New Generation G Coupes

I was talking to my dealership a week ago about this. The guys in service said the body is expected to change 2013-2014 they think. And that future IPLs for the body change would be closer to an Lexus IS-F model in regards to HP.
The reason we started talking was because i inquired as to getting a new model and having them add a Stillen Supercharger on it, then work it into the payments. They said i should wait for the new body to come out...and that its expected 2013-2014, etc etc.

I don't think Infiniti is worried about Hyundai crashing into their market. They are more in the market against BMWs and Mercedes. When I was looking for the G37, Hyundai was the last manufacturer I thought of.

This comes up every month or so. There is still not any "good" info on what they are planning, or when. The guys I talked to at the dealership here said at this point all they could do is speculate as even with them its all just rumors at this point.

Speaking of Hyundai, I just got the February issue of Road & Track and on page 15 is a photo of the updated 2013 Genesis Coupe. The front fascia is completely revised and is more aggressive and bolder. In addition, the article states that the 2013 Genenis Coupe will offer a 3.8 V6 with 345 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque and a 2.0 liter turbo 4 with 271 hp and 275 lb-ft torque. Infiniti better get moving on the next generation G's!

Next G
Considering the trends of engine's getting bigger and bigger, I could see the next G being something along the lines of a G27 and G39...with the bigger engine producing somewhere around 345hp. Also, with the next IPL, maybe they just keep it simple and use the same engine as the big engine M and make a G56 jk, I highly doubt it would fit.
