2012 - Infiniti M56 IPL
Motor Trend - Thanks to Best Car magazine, we bring to you very early sketches of a proposed high performance M56-based sedan. If produced, power from the 5.6-liter V-8 can be expected to jump well above the regular edition's 420 horsepower, as can suspension be significantly revised for better handling and a lower ride height.
We wouldn't be surprised if the now 14-inch Akebono brakes grow slightly to reign in any extra speed. And of course, what's a performance sedan without a bolder aerodynamic package and bigger wheels. The speculated high-powered sedan would take its place well above the previously released and slightly-modified 2011 IPL G Coupe.

I hope Infiniti give the IPL M a lil more upgrade than what they did with the G, but the description of the car is not very promising:
(from the article)
"If produced, power from the 5.6-liter V-8 can be expected to jump well above the regular edition's 420 horsepower ..." (G went from 330 to 350)
"... suspension be significantly revised for better handling and a lower ride height ..." (stiffer springs / shocks for the IPL G)
"We wouldn't be surprised if the now 14-inch Akebono brakes grow slightly to reign in any extra speed ..." (IPL G doesn't get bigger brakes, but this is more of a speculation)
" ... what's a performance sedan without a bolder aerodynamic package and bigger wheels." (IPL G got new front and rear bumper, new wheels, though the same size)

Well they did underline "high performance M56 based sedan" so maybe that means it'll be a bit more than the IPL G.
I hope they put this out; the lease is up on my G37xS in 2013 and I was looking at getting a M56S so this would be awesome.

While I would love something like that, I don't want Nissan to build a great car that no one buys becuase it's too expensive. They need to be smart and build up the brand slowly.
