Infiniti Throws Its Hat In The Ring With Baby G37 Coupe Geared To Thwart BMW 1-Series
At the Infiniti 360 event recently in Portugal, a rendering was shown at one of the press presentations hinting they would launch a baby G37 coupe that would compete with the 1-Series BMW.
The rendering looks hot in our opinion and should become a worthy competitor when it launches as a 2010 model.
They didn't say it was coming for sure but WE'RE telling you if they showed it, you KNOW it's coming...
What do the Auto Spies faithful say?

hmm..i like that rendering....if they can keep it looking aggressive and toss the 3.7 in there, it'll be a rocket....lets hope they save alot weight on it..i'd say target weight of 3100-3200lbs would be good....mayb its based off the next Z which is suppose to be smaller/lighter than the current Z

They have to position it accordingly since they have to take into consideration the new Altima Coupe, the upcoming Z (supposedly hugely upscaled) and there should be a new coupe coming out to replace the Z's former position. This is a toughy, from a marketing point of view, since they can't just focus on the BMW 1, they have to take all relevant things into consideration.
But Nissan's been on such a roll for the past 7-8 years that it's hard to see them fcking this up.
