From: on some Prius forum somewhere. Also getting 60mpg.
Todd,
Also take a look at the Raymond Weil's as well. They have some very nice ones out there that you might like as well. Omega's are not too bad either, but they are somewhat stuck on two model lines.

I went to the website and saw a watch that I really liked. I then went to the link that said where to go to buy the watch, but neither of the websites had any info on the watch so I went ahead and made a post before work picked up about looking into this nice time piece. Just had a thought of checking out the internet for prices and... WTH (Heck)... $4000+ for a watch! I think I'll stick with the Vortec Plans for now....... And to think I was going to try to slide this one by Debbie. She'd have KILLED me!!!
I figured $500 maybe a little more, but $4K. It may be nice, but I don't have that kind of money for a watch...

yeah I used to have a bad watch fetish (had 40 at one time) and now have narrowed it down to 6. I was going to get a Bell & Ross from Kim as my engagement present but my conscience couldnt let me let her spend 4k on a watch. Of course when I mentioned funding for other mods I got "you cant engrave those" And I said.....well of course you can

It's actually a Parsifal just like this one but with a white dial, it's a mens watch but I use it with the original leather strap so you can't really tell. It's weird because I can't stand ladies watches, everytime I buy one I end up returning it. I've had this one for quite a while, but I almost never wear a watch so I stuck with it and haven't looked at anything new lately.

I'm pretty sure Germans call it Florenz too. They call Milan 'Mailand' and Venice 'Venedig'. I used to watch soccer on the German channels and it would take some wild guesses as to who was playing just looking at the team names on the screen. A lot of names get really distorted in other languages. I always laugh when I hear somebody say "Ma-JAH-mi" and you hear this all the time here

Todd,
Another watch to take a look at is the Tissot. They have quite a few really nice watches that you can check out. Most have sapphire crystals, so they withstand scratches pretty well. Same company that makes Omega, so they are very good quality.
Finiti,
The clear back is nice, but you can never see it! This is the back of the Parsifal that I have..nice to just make sure the movement is smooth. Is yours automatic? If so, how much kinetic energy time will yours store? I have heard that 30 hours is max on these.

That's a sweet watch. No, mine isn't automatic. I have another little toy that's a clearback automatic but I've only worn it like twice on formal occasions...I'm too lazy since I can't find a watch winder I've no idea how much kinetic energy it can store, what is this, the time from the moment you wind it till the moment it stops?

yep, it is how much it stores when you are not wearing the watch before it stops keeping time. If you don't wear them everyday, that is the main reason for the watchwinders. The only one that I know of that has a large amount of storage is the Seiko.
