...but joining your girl into the club might be a really cool thing to do, as she'll also get a t-shirt and an extra raffle ticket. So far there are 3 guys who have joined up their better halves, no reason why there shouldn't be a fourth.

Looks like you missed someone because I've received the membership fee from 44 people. No worries, I have the master spread sheet with everyones name and personal info on my home pc. I scrubbed it to only have the members user name and first name and then send that to Wes for the website.
Wes you have mail with the latest 44 names! We are SOOO going to hit 50 people by March 5th. My new goal is 60, Woo Hoo!!! I sure hope John has room for us all. If not, maybe he'll have a few open lifts and I'll have to bring a mod with me just to find a parking place. Think the wife will understand?

Keep reading in the next week or two for the development of an official SFL Chapter of the FGC and the Board of Directors infa-structure will be finalized. From there it will be up to them to schedule weekly, bi-weekly or monthly SFL meets.

Heck in the most recent SFL meet thread there was one person who attempted to change the day, time or location of the meet. NO ONE challenged this what so ever and I almost got involved! If someone posts a "new meet thread" NO ONE has the right change the details of a meet that they did not initiate. They can request a change, suggest a change, but they SHOULD NOT hijack the thread and flat out change the details of the meet. If you can't make the place, day or time, wait for the next meet. This has been the MAIN reason for the SFL meets falling through in the last year that I've been in the SE Fourm.
Once we have 3 BOD's in the FGC who are in charge of setting up meeting times and locations for the SFL people, I have a feeling that more SFL people will be getting involved in AT LEAST monthly meets, if not more frequent meets than that. Once this happens the SFL chapter of the FGC is going to take off in a big way.
