I only got to run one time and it was the first time I dragged the G. I had severely bald tires and a passenger. I ran the following:
R/T... .075
60'... 2.4
1/8... 9.7
MPH... 75.14
1000...12.5
1/4... 14.8
MPH... 95.46

hey marshall i think i saw you when you were on your way back home last night. Saw a red g coupe w/ track numbers on I-4 towards tampa by the 17-92 exit right after downtown at around 12:30. I was in a Black sport SC Range rover and i hit the brakes a couple times to see if you'd run me , but i dont think you noticed so i went on my merry way. Looks good

I was running into major "shift knock" last night in my car. On every shift, my UTEC was pulling timing to the point that I had negative timing.....(ATCD. ). That is why my first run I was only able to trap a 108.....I made some adjustments, but it happened again in the first 1/8 mile........my 1/8 mile trap speed was almost identicle on both runs (85 mph), but this time, I trapped at 112 mph!!! If I can tweak the UTEC and fix the shift knock, I should be closer to 115-116 trap speeds with a clean run.
MY ET is a whole other issue......I only ran a 13.2, but I care much about that. The MPH is more indicative of the actual power.

It looks like you have an automatic, so my guess is that it shifts slow and the motor revs up between shifts too much and detonates.
How would you fix that with a UTEC? Move the timing back in the RPM ranges where the "shift knock" occurs?

shift knock is some weird knock that the utec falsly picks up when you shift. the problem is that it retards timing when it happens.
i would say that only 1 outta 30 people get it, andrew is just lucky!!
you should play the lottery!!
