How do you think he shifted a TH400 into fourth gear?

i was fully built greddy tt, i didnt build that motor though and it wouldnt take what i threw at it. now i built a 300 hp NA motor, now i am bored, so i might sell the motor or do something crazy with it.

The high compression that you achieved, was it from the head or the pistons. The most on the market is only 11.5 or Nismo heads run 12:1 on stock pistons.

most compression ratio is achieved by the pistons, mine are 15 to 1. you cant get hardly any from the heads unless you have a different shaped combustion chamber, which would mean a special all new head.
12 to 1 is about all you can run on pump gas and thats why most people stop there. im a big baller and can afford to put C16 in it.. hehe jk
this was done with an ACT clutch/flywheel and stock 6 speed tranny. i have a th400 sitting at my shop.
i thought about putting it in and adding my nitrous on maybe in the near future but not sure, i would like to keep pushing the all motor thing for a bit.
this is actually the same car that i had the built tt setup in, that motor is no longer with us, BUT i didnt build it so i didnt know the limits of it. i found the limits though!!
thanks guys, all motor isnt cheap, you can build a longblock up for ya for about a price of a turbo kit.
its fun though and something new for this engine platform...

Jeremy had a TT motor with a TH400 transmission in his car. It ran 10.40. He took a video of it and put a link to the video in his Sig.
Jeremy took the TT and TH400 out of his car.
Jeremy put a NA motor and 6-spd transmission in his car.
Nothing can keep up with the speed that Jeremy mods his car... Not even his own Sig...
