Paint Splatter

I was driving on 434 in Longwood in the construction zone. Up ahead a truck with a trailer started dripping paint. I was 3lengths away when it happened, so I dropped back, just about stopped. I didn't think any got onto my car. When I got back home I looked and the bumper, hood, and side mirrors have white paint splatters. White paint on my Black G. It's not been a good day.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Brian

+1 on calling Jon!

Might also try to see if it's water based paint. If so, washing it might make take it off.

Probably better to try to get it off sooner than later...

I had some paint overspray on my car when I bought it and I used the clay bar to get it off. It did a great job.

May sound funny but i use this stuff called OOPS muti purpose remover. it comes in a can from publix for 5 bucks. i had sap on my G brand new it took it right off...i got hit in my other car (it had white paint, the other car red) it wiped it right off. i just got done coating my bike with it to get off years of neglect and no waxing. The stuff says it is made for removing paint...i have never had a problem with it on my cars and i got the idea from my company we use it on are trucks to remove sticker residue. so it is up to you to use it. I use it on ALL of my cars and it has never messed anything up i put some on a rag and apply it to car then wash right away...so use it at your own risk i recomend it and i also recomend useing it in a not so noticable place first if you are worried. I also use it around the housefor everything. the web site is www.homaxproducts.com

hope it helps man and good luck.

Thanks for your responses. I ended up using rubbing alcohol. Got all the paint off, then I washed and waxed it. Everything is perfect now. Thanks again.
