CPA Exam Part I

Okay well I took the first part of the CPA exam on Tuesday and it didnt seem that bad even though Im pretty sure I failed due to a lack of understanding of my review software ; because of this I didnt get a chance to study the simulation portion of the exam. So i took 1/3 of the exam cold turkey. The good news is Ill be ready on Wednesday for the Financial Accounting and Reporting Sec. the bad news is Im pretty sure I have to retake the audit section. Oh well live and learn. Just a friendly update.

^ yeah I was def. pissed specially when i got home and looked on my software a little bit more and actually found the simulation problems. The only good thing is that the 2/3 I did study for Im pretty sure I did good I just have to see if I did good enough on that portion of the exam to out shine the part i did bad on enough for me to get a passing grade. I still could have passed but Im not giving my hopes up. Im just going to start studying for that section again just incase.

You are lucky you can take one part at a time. When I took it in NJ, I had to sit for 4 parts over two days until I passed two and got at least a 50 on the other two. Fortunately I did pass two the first time around, but then I had to sit for the remaining two which I just missed passing . Took me three attempts to pass all four parts. Thank god thats over with and I never have to do it again G Luck

Hey I mght take mine in GA(after one year) because its easier and quicker and than just transfer your cert to FL. If you fail this one and think of doing it in GA let me know....I have a friend going to take his in GAnext month

Good luck Shermie... If you fail, for a price I know a guy who can get you your cert. from Madagascar, then you can just transfer it.

good luck. I know someone that took it and passed it first try but he looked himself in a hotel room for two weeks before the exam.

Best of luck.
