takeda single cold air intake system

Space saver, a true revolutionary thinking by Takeda. Came up with single filter with dual intake system. One large filter giving more surface area for the air to be sucked in. Yet brilliant design which can be fitted behind the grilles for maximum air flow.

Offered only from JEB Performance $450.45. PM us for your takeda space saver easy DIY mod.

Being directly behind the grille compared behind bumper (stillen) or behind closed air duct (injen). A brilliant economical and simple solution for our G37.

Here is what Takeda had to say about them.....

Producing gains of 19 horsepower and 12 lbs. x ft. torque, Takeda is proud to have engineered this true cold air intake system. The placement of the unique single air filter in the area in front of the radiator guarantees a supply of cool, high pressure air. The Takeda philosophy of "no cutting or drilling" is maintained with this intake system, as flexible urethane couplings are used to pass through existing openings in the radiator core support. The polished aluminum tubes are maintenance-free thanks to the clear anodized finish. Whether for street or race, this is the ultimate intake system for the G37.

Now available Spash Shield from Takeda $61.95 PM us for combo deal.

I thought Stillen was the first to mount their filters right behind the grill.. NO?

Either way, looks like a quality product at a bargain price. However, they should offer some type of a water shield though.

Does this require the same "modifications" (ie cutting parts) as the stillen Gen 3 does?

Im curious how these compare to Stillen or Injen, its about time we have a new CAI joining the family. For its price, even if it offers slightly less gains than still, the fact that it requires no cutting, and just the fact its a few design will make it sell well.

am i the only one thinking that connecting both intake sides would cause some issue with the air coming into the car. Wouldn't each side be fighting for the same air??? or cause some odd turbulence?

^^ Speaking of cleaning kit.. How flexible are those "elbows"?

Would you have to drop the bumper/disassemble the intake everytime you want to clean the filter?
