MOTUL Motor Oil - 300V Synthetic

Which Motul should I choose, I have heard of Motul before. Are they Really that good?

I think above question tops all other questions I receive from our customers. Yes they are good. But how good? And why are they so expensive?

First of all our independent lab tests show, Motul compared to our dealer engine oil is 100% synthetic. Ability to retain original quality longer than our "OEM". Added detergent in the Motul does better job of cleaning our inside of an engine. Far better than our "OEM" does.

I do own 2001 Infiniti I30. The car is my daily beater that have been with me since my first daughter was born 12/27/2000. With more than 200'000 miles of hard work. Transporting me and my family. Recently I noticed on low RPM engine would die on me. Constantly having to re-ignite. Well to do this every other signal light was both embarrassing and a burden to the driver behind. I did not want to waist expensive Motul on her since as I said the car is my daily beater. I did not expect much but wala, the engine still shows sign of dying. But I no longer have to re-start every other signal light.

Imagine what this can do to your car. Independent lab tests and dyno tests shows us that Motul is far better than other synthetic motor oil. I want to suggest 5w30 for cold weather areas like our northern US and Canada. and 5w40 for desert areas. Or do what I do here in California. I change my oil twice a year. During summer season I use 5w40's and winter I use 5w30's.

The Motul Power 300V is definetely not "placebo", they have proven after oil changes added performance. Longer use depending on how you drive an oil change between 4K-5K is recommended.

So take up on my chalenge I want to offer Motul Power 300V to all forum members at a price never heard of.

I know you touched on this, but I have a question. I am interested in using 5w30 300v, but I go about 4k miles and 6-9 months between changes (I only average about 8k miles a year). Some people have indicated that the 300v may not be the best for long (time period) interval changes. What are your thoughts? I noticed you mentioned you only change yours twice a year....

EDIT: You can hold off on the below quote/price request. I had to go a different direction as I mention in my below post, but when I am serious about this on my next service, I will hit you up. Sorry for jumping the gun....

Can you PM me a price for enough 300v for 2 oil changes, 2 K&N filters, and enough 75w90 Gear 300 fluid for one rear differential and manual transmission change?

Thank you!

Virgin oil analysis would indicate that it's perfectly fine for extended changes. Naysayers who say otherwise are people who have never tried the oil, and have zero tangible evidence to show otherwise.

PM me if you'd like to see a virgin oil analysis.

Mike, I trust your opinion and what you have to say. Thanks. You answered my question. I assumed that was probably the case, and most feedback was really good on this. I am going a slightly different direction for several reasons, but I will consider the Motul next time around (mainly, I really need to do something this week because I am leaving the country for a while, and I cannot find Motul oil locally).
