I'm considering grabbing a pair of these.... but to be clear - someone earlier mentioned that oem filters cost $70 a pair. Maybe at an Inifniti dealership.... but you can get the same exact filters at a Nissan dealership for $38.00/pair.

Our oem air filters are actually Nissan parts.

I'm sure a number of people like myself that ordered these filters are getting to the point where they need to be cleaned.

Water with a mild dish detergent. Let it air dry overnight. Am I on target? Anything I'm missing?

Guys, don't these filters let in more dirt? Has anyone checked to see if there TB are dirty after running them? how dirty are they getting after 5Kmiles or 10Kmiles. Anyone have pics of the dirt holding and dust holding?

 

This looks like an old thread and to be honest I didnt feel comfortable with the a foam filter because although im sure that these filters let in more air, there is no proof that the air is cleaner air. For that reason, i went with the aFe drop in filters. They have R&D behind them to support their performance and filtering gains and they just looked like the far superior filters compared to HKS and K&N.
