Per this TSB that's for newer vehicles it states B2603 (Shift Position Status)
This could pertain to the shifter lever in the transmission not matching too well with interior shifter.

If it's red key light then it looks like the file you uploaded came with a NATS delete if you cant confirm anything else.

I had to remove the shift linkage and ream out the slot about 1/4 inch further down and the code was fixed. Then i went to test it again and got a p0335 code, crank position sensor. Car won't rev past 3000 and jerks hard when it shifts. I'm going to take a look at the sensor and make sure it wasn't damaged during installation. That's the hole i had to drill on the vr30 bell housing.

Took some effort to get it out but here it is. I think i gouged it when i was shoving the transmission back in. Probably should have left it out and reinstalled after bolting everything else together.

Well i replaced the sensor, had to file down the sides a little to get it seated right. Still throwing the p0335 code when i try to rev it over 3000. Any suggestions?

wiring harness or the new sensor you got is faulty? Could try hard resetting the ECU by leaving the battery disconnected for about an hour. Might also just be that the car needs to complete a drive cycle to confirm that the issue is fixed.

Hope its not the harness, thats beyond my repair knowledge. I'll probably just take it somewhere on Monday. I've had so many issues with everything lately. Charger engine seized last week, this car still not driveable.

I unplugged the sensor entirely and there was no change so i ordered an oem sensor from z1. Hopefully thats it.

So i got a flashlight and was getting a good look at the sensor and i can't get it to sit flush for some reason. I ordered a new bell housing and am going send it to godzillaraceworks for machining that hole. I'd recommend to anyone attempting this to do the same unless you have the proper equipment to make the hole accurately, a hand drill didn't work great apparently and now the transmission has to come out again.

Don't they sell a tool that marks where you need to drill the new sensor? I thought about buying it and doing it that way

I don't know, it'd be a good idea though. Either way do it right the first time. I didn't realize how accurate this sensor needed to be.

Got the machined bellhousing and everything bolted back up today. Still having the same code and issues. Not sure what to do now.

Have you checked the continuity of the wiring to the sensor? Here’s a decent guide how to do it https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/r/...wiring-harness

I have checked the fuses, they're fine. Going through the wiring is something i don't really feel comfortable doing beyond visual inspection. The sensor is brand new oem so i know thats not bad. I'm gonna check to make sure its seated properly, if its not sitting flush I'll talk to the company that machined it and see if there's an issue on their end. I've just had no luck with cars lately, my charger engine locked up because of the oil pump going out, I've put close to $4000 trying to get this car running and still no good.

One other thing i forgot to mention, once the engine is running as soon as i clear the code it stalls.
