370z Nismo Differential Swap
Hey guys, new to posting here but ive been lurking this forum for the past year or so. I've got a 2012 G37 Auto Sedan
I've been reading a lot about final drives and differentials and im looking at swapping a 2015/2016 370z Nismo AT differential.
From what ive scoured on the web, the 2015 and 2016 models have auto transmissions with a VLSD as well as the 3.69 ratios. Perfect swap for a mild boost from the 3.3 open diff, right?
Now since both transmissions are automatic, this should be a plug and play right? is there anything i should look out for that i may have missed?

2015+ AT have 3.69 and MT have 3.9xx gears.
It should be a plug and play and it would be a good time to fix your differential bushing if you haven't done so yet. Regarding boost and a shorter gear, you need to keep in mind if you make too much power a 3.3 diff (w/LSD) may actually help you put the power down better.

Fortunately im not really looking to make big power, i just want to take my G on a track as well as some very windy roads around my area. Although if anything changes i think my 8.5 rear tireswill be my biggest limiting factor when it comes to putting power down
