Hi Guys. So for the past few months I've driven my 2011 G37x sedan daily with no issues. Yesterday I was out running around and I parked at my job (parked for 3-4 hours) and when I went to start it, nothing happened. I heard a click sound coming from what seems to be under the car when my driver door is open when I try to start. Battery is new and the dashboard lights up without issue. I'm thinking its the starter, but there have been no signs at any point that the starter was failing or anything. It always started right up strong everytime.

Any suggestions on what can be wrong or any kind of test I can do while its parked at my job to determine any resolutions? I obviously dont want to have it towed to a mechanic if its something stupid that can be easily fixed or replaced in place.

Usually the click sound and the dash lights working indicates the solenoid on the starter has failed.
