I have a G 35 2005coupe with a G 37 2015 transmission and the driveshaft don’t fit !!!should I cut the drive shaft or should ??? Or look for the G 37 Sedan driveshaft.?? Or coup one ??

 

I would feel that the G37 sedan driveshaft may not fit also. the length might be a new length because the chassis of your g35 coupe is much different than a g37 sedan, then the length of the transmission originally from both cars are different.

you may need to measure the distance and get a shop to advise you

 

Just asking questions:

Is this research you came up on?
Recommended by a buddy or something you read that it would work?
Was it just a trans swap or did you went ahead and swapped any electronics?

Reason why I ask is that the 7AT trans is quite the pesky one, I would see this swap to be somewhat achievable in 2008+ G35s since they share the same body but not with the V35 G35.
I guess you really cant tell any functions right now without the driveshaft but I'm curious as this would be a first for me.
