Z1 Oil Pan vs Greddy Pan vs Z1 Pan Spacer
Hi All
I currently have a Z1 oil pan spacer with a 34 row oil cooler. Is it worth the upgrade to move to the new z1 oil pan or the greddy pan?
Thanks!

seems like you have plenty of oil going through the car not sure why you want more.

The only comparison between all three are increased oil volume.
With you spacer you'll gain a bit more volume + the ability of being able to add threaded drains and sensors
With the Greddy, you'll get fins that will help more than the factory pan to keep oil from sloshing around, added volume and built ports for FI setups etc.
The Z1 leaves the other two options behind quite a bit. Not only it seems to be the largest volume one but it's the only once concentrated on keeping the oil in the pick up area with designed flaps commonly seen in motorsports.
Installing this type of pan along with a properly sized oil cooler should seize all oil related issues the VQ might bring to the table.
Granted you'll have to ask yourself what is that you'll be doing, I dont see the Greddy offering much more than what a spacer would however with the Z1 pan you could regain some money by selling your spacer since it will no longer be needed hopefully bringing costs down.

I just got the Z1 oil pan recently and will be installing it on my engine before i put the engine back in my car.
Its a quality unit.
Birdie and Bull are right, it comes down to what you are planning to do that will answer your question.

Thanks guys very helpful!
today my stock pan has a small dent so wanted something that looks good and maybe helps with cooling.
the greddy pan looks to be half the price of the z1 version, since I already have the 34 row it sounds like that’s probably the best fit!
light track, mostly street use. Has Stillen Supercharger with A2A kit.
