Yes, this morning I was talking to the mechanic who installed the diff bushing. He said getting the collar out of the subframe was near impossible, took him 4 hours getting it out of the subframe, this was on a lift. They have it in the shop again today, going to get that fixed - he says my diff is fine, no need for a replacement. I was going tot wait on the repair for a bit, but as I said in another thread, I got stranded with and weird issue, probably electrical/battery related.

 

What did he change? Leaks after resealing is not a common thing.

The pinion seal along with axle seals are a "install and forget it" type of thing, the diff cover is a matter of surface prep + quality RTV/Silicone and you should be leak free. So a leak is concerning if he replaced them all.
Figure out where this leak is coming from first being that a spare diff might fail the same way.

A quick check would be to leave the brace bolted to the car and off the diff and check it in 1-2 days to see where are the holes of the brace vs the differential. I've read of a couple of folks running into diff alignment issues on some braces however many have failing front or rear bushings.

 

He only changed the pinion seal bushing (visibly leaking) and installed Z1 bushings - leak was on driveshaft side. The rear diff cover (oem) is fine. I like the idea of leaving the diff brace brace bolted to the frame, however I would be running it without two bolts in diff cover. So no. There is zero clearance with Bell brace in.

So if the pinion side started leaking again you'll need to find out from where, typically they start leaking from the rubber area that meets the drive shaft. A visual and physical inspection should let you know if the pinion is scorred and if it is then a new diff will fix the issue since new seals wont be able to account for the groove in the pinion.
This can happen from excessive play in the diff the diff rocks back and forth putting too much pressure on the bottom during decels and in the top during accels.
I think is safe to assume that if the cover is dry then you can put to rest any of your issues with the brace however the excessive play has affected the pinion and only a replacement pinion or a new diff will be the remedy.
