Help Should I rebuild?

Should I rebuild?
Hey guys. I'm planning on doing forced induction in the near future. But I'm wondering, should I rebuild my motor first? It has 110k miles on it. So it would probably be a good idea I assume. But do you think a top end rebuild would suffice, or would I be required to do the bottom end as well? I'm not looking to chase big numbers. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

What are your power goals? If looking to go 450-500, do a leakdown/compression check and see where the motor is health wise. If all is good then full send.
If goal is 600+ then rods and pistons would be a good idea. Or, still go full send and when/if the block lets go do the rebuild then. Used VQs are 1-1500 so grab one, machine and build if the current one lets go.
Tune is going t be the real determining factor - go with some one reputable
