VVEL relay replacement

VVEL relay replacement
Maybe a dumb question but how do you remove the vvel relay? It looks like I should be able to just pull up and remove it however its not budging. Before I break it, is there a trick to getting these things out?
Thanks in advance!

I had codes indicating left and right banks were bad on the vvel sensors. From what little info I found on the web that could indicate a bad module. I replaced it with a used one and figured why not replace the relay while I'm at it. i did the throttle relearn procedure and so far so good. I've gone about 30 miles with no issues so far. Hopefully it stays that way.

Ever find out how to take out the relay without breaking it?

The relay box has to come out, then the bottom of that box needs to be removed.
Once the bottom is removed, you can shine a light and will see the holding clip that holds the relay.
PITA to access.
BTW the relays are made by HELLA
