Foam tape in manifold? Stillen SC?
I bought a stillen kit off someone who was planning on going A2A but never installed it. There was an unfortunate set of circumstances and I bought it from their family. It was missing a bunch of A2A components they couldn’t find but all of the factory stillen stuff was there. So I was going to install the base kit with a frozenboost upgrade until I could afford a new A2A conversion and fuel system.
However the W2A heat exchanger that goes inside the manifold was there but already removed. I noticed it had some kind of foam tape between the manifold and the HE. Do I need to replace this tape to use the HE? If so does anyone have any clue what the heck the tape is? I just don’t want to throw something in there that’s going to fall off and go into the lower plenum and wreak havoc.

it wasn’t breaking down the person who originally had the kit was setting it up for A2A and never installed it so it’s all ripped from pulling the HE out. I’m fine replacing it I was trying to figure out what kind of tape I need so I dont put something in there that falls off inside a few days later lol.
