Z1 Diff Cover

Going to get my diff bushing replaced at a Houston SZR, and they also quoted me for installing this diff cover. Doesn't seem like this is necessary if I'm not tracking very much? I think I'll tell them no, but was wondering others' thoughts on this part.

Not needed for your needs unless you plan on tracking car often in the future

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Maybe once a year if anything. They were sort of pushing for it since the diff will be out anyway, but not really worth the cost.

There's nothing wrong with getting it because it looks cool (no pun). I've got some regrets for not getting the Z1 cover when the OEM diff cover was off a few years ago, but I was already knee deep in project costs, so it didn't happen. And now I've got Bell's 4-point diff brace that won't work with Z1, so...

Anyway, regrets.

Haha for $300 after install, I might spend that money on something else that looks cool that I can actually see :P

Diff cover is cosmetic if you're not tracking your G.
