Driving a few weeks ago, my car started jolting, idling high, then going limp and I got a MAF issue code: I disconnected the battery and it ran okay but still iffy. I was suspicious that rain had gotten in the intakes (z1 CAI). I replaced the MAF sensors but began having similar problems and getting the following codes: p0172, p0175 meaning the car was running rich. at this point i just took it to a shop and they said the MAFs were the
incorrect parts and replaced them again. Got the car back and it ran fine for a little but the p006a code came again and it still idles high and doesnt drive smooth. I cant figure out why. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, I had this code pop up once night after beating on the car quite a bit and had to limp it all the way home.
The next morning I cleared the code with a scan tool, cleaned the MAFs and MAP sensor (I would recommend cleaning throttle bodies as well). I did the idle relearn and everything was fine from then on.
