So.. was leaving Logan Airport last Thursday, back up the car and hear an awful, awful noise.

Couldn't drive the car, so had it towed to a place near me.

Turns out the Engine Mount gave away, and dropped onto the axle and broke it! They're working on fixing it, but they didn't mention anything about damage to the actual engine.. and I'm kinda surprised.

Holy ****. Thats insane. Sorry to hear the mount was worn that bad for you to have an event like this. Hopefully the place near you is reasonable. The hunt for a reputable shop is always a pain. But once you find one it will be good to go. All the best

You Salt Belt owners need to keep an eye on your underbody.

I drive 50 miles to have work done on my cars because my guy is excellent and not outrageously priced.
