P1233 & Limp Mode
Was driving home tonight and the CEL came on, pulled into a parking lot and checked the code. P1233 popped up -- "Fuel Pump Driver Module Disabled or Off Line".
Was only 5 minutes from home but car was stuck in limp mode so I was stuck going 10mph the entire way. Got it home, sat it in the driveway and started it up to see if anything changed, it was hard starting but finally started up. Tried that twice, same result.
Any help would be greatly appreciated before I take it to my mechanic.

When you say hard start, did it stutter and not start or was it cranking slowly? From what I gather your fuel pump is at fault. I'm not too sure how the fuel pump is driven on these cars, it should be relay controlled. I would have a look at the wiring leading to the fuel pump for damage.
I may pull the fuel pump and check for any debris, maybe you have something clogging the filter in the tank?
EDIT: Disregard, this is all incorrect.

You're right about it being the throttle body, and honestly makes the car's behavior make a lot more sense. When I attempt to drive the car, the throttle feels very numb and won't go above 1500rpm/10mph. The VDC and CEL light both stay on as well.

Yeah, ended up looking more into it and realized my app gave me the Ford P1233 instead of the Nissan one. (Other cars a Ford)

Today it started up normally, but last night when it hard started, it was like the starter was getting overworked and took much longer than normal to start.

Did you end up figuring it out? I'm having the same issue on my '10 sedan
