Car turned ON, lights on and makes ticking noise but won't start

Hi, I really need your help:

So I've been letting my G37 sit in my garage for about 2 months, and just now I tried to start it up by jumping the battery, but it won't start. All the lights came on, the ignition turned on, the radio worked, but the car won't start.

The Intelligent Key warning light stayed on the whole time, and the Owner Manual said that: "if it stayed on the whole time when the engine is stopped, it may be impossible to start the engine."

Also, the car only had power when the battery connected to another car. Once I remove the jumper cable, the power would immediately cut off.
The brake pedal is very stiff than normal, not sure why though.

My car is a 2012 G37 sedan rwd with 76k miles on.

Thank you guys.

Note: In summer, I left my car in the driveway on jack stands for 3 months, and it took only about 15 minutes to start the car. Also, if the battery didn't have enough juice to start, then everything would turn off immediately when I hit the start button. However, this time when I hit the start button, it will make a loud and continuous ticking noise and won't start, and all the lights and radio system will remain to stay on.

Two months is a long time. The battery is probably completely dead. I would get a battery charger from Harbor Freight and leave it on overnight.

I'm sure a new battery would solve your problem.

How long were the cables attached? You're going from a completely drained battery. A charger would definitely be a better option for you, otherwise you'll have to keep the cables attached for a while.

I used Battery Tender to re-charge the battery for 48 hours, but it seems like it didn't work. Then I hooked up the jumper cable into another running car for 30 mins. The car will make a continuous loud ticking noise and all the lights and the dash screen will flash like crazy, but it just won't start and the car will remain to stay on with all the lights on as well as the radio system. The Intelligent Key warning light won't go again either, no matter how I tried. I put my key fob into the little hole on the left side, and a new battery inside my key fob, too.

Before when I did my rear diff upgrade, I left my car on the stand jack in my driveway for 3 months lol, and it only took me like 15 mins (connected the jumper cable to the same running car) to start the car. If it didn't start, then everything would turn off. Once the car started, I drove around for like 1 hour to re-charge the battery, and it worked fine until I left it inside the garage.

What I worry now is that I may damage some fuse inside my car or the car is being locked from starting now since the yellow Key Sign stays on now. I will go buy another new battery and install it and hope for the best.

Right now, I'm using Battery Tender (750mA) to re-charge the battery again, but this time I disconnect the negative and positive connectors this time and see if this works or nah.

Needs new battery. Even if on the tender or another vehicle there will not be enough CCA to start the vehicle

Agreed with PNW_IPL. My car did the same thing. Had it towed to the dealer, who then promptly raped me for a new battery (they didn't even use any lube!). Go buy a new battery from Advance/Autozone/O'Reillys.

battery is dead. get another one as the loud ticking noise you are describing sounds like the starter solenoid starting to engage and not able to turn the starter motor. the battery in your car is completely depleted and is acting like a sponge even when you have another car running and powered by cables.

UPDATE: Car was prevented from starting. Not sure why, but a new battery doesn't work either. Called Infiniti Dealer, and they sent out an Automobile Tech, and he "unlocked" my car with his scanner in less than 10 mins. Out of the windows $75. He said it has to do with some electric stuff, and it mistook my key as a fake key?!?
