Hello all! Looking for some help please
I have a 2009 G37 Convertible with 88,500 miles.

last week while driving up into the Rockies, driving very slow on winding roads in a mountain town, all power dropped and my car was barely moving. Felt like limp mode. No error lights, engine lights etc. just gas pedal to the foor and NOTHING. I pulled over immediately and turned off the car. Seemed to drive fine after that but I didn’t push it as I was worried and headed home.

then a few days later, after washing car at car wash, I took off from the shop and proceeded home. Probably going about 35-40mph and I stepped on the gas to pass a slower vehicle. Again, power dropped, was real slow then kicked in and ran up real quick to the desired speed. Almost feels like water in the gas. Just bogged down, slowed down, then kicked back in.

ran a home diagnostic with my Blue Drive app and I’m getting the PO734 code.

took to a transmission shop and they suspect, like the code informs, a 4th gear issue with means a potential transmission replacement.

So question here for you- anyone else have similar issue with a 2009 G37? Any know transmission issues with the G37 and that code for 4th gear?
Any recommendations for next steps? Think I might try the dealer as they know Infiniti better than my family mechanic.
