Acceleration problem

Hey guys, I’ve been experiencing a big lag when I pressed on the gas heavily. It happens when I change my gear to 3-4 but it does the same to 3 until 6 gear. When I change my gear and pressed on the gas hard the rmp goes up and goes down quickly and I’m still pressing on the gas? The only mods I have in my car is takers cold air intake and art test pipe. I had them installed maybe 2 years now and there was no problem. This acceleration problem just started a week ago. I would like to hear your suggestion. Thanks

Sounds like your clutch is slipping. Best way to test it is to lug the engine. What you'll do is find a slight uphill and approach it at a slow speed (say around 45) then put the car in 6th and press the gas. If RPM's go up, but speed doesn't then your clutch is on its way out.

Okay thanks. I’ll try it out
