2009 - Code P0340
Hi everyone, 2009 g37 114k miles on it. Went on vacation, car sat for ~10 days, came home, shifting hard and now won't go above 3500 rpms, in limp mode. Went ahead and cleaned MAF sensors and cleaned throttle bodies. Did a throttle relearn process and reset the ECU. Improved shifting but still won't go above 3500 rpms. On start seems to struggle, battery will be 3 years old next month. Also, took battery off and did a charge on it. Previously the car went into limp mode maybe 3x in 1 year. Turning off the car and back on it fixed it those times. Took it to get the codes read: C1130
P0340
P0603
Thoughts on what to proceed next. P0340 is a cam shaft sensor. Can you clean those? Replace? How hard? Thanks.

Well, Googling the codes show:
C1130: NISSAN - Engine Signal 1. The code means that the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) control unit has detected that there is a problem with the Engine Control Module (ECM).
P0603: you recently disconnected the battery so that ECU is using default trims, not the learned trims developed over time from the way you drive your car.
Check your ABS sensor wires, then check any engine connectors you may have loosened performing maintenance. After that, you need to find someone a bit more knowledgeable, like maybe a dealer.

I hope i don’t get this issue (or any related issues with wires...) I’m also leaving my ‘09 for ten days, but I got a bad power steering pump... no drips please!!

Then just splice/rewire them on your wiring harness.
Damn squirrel chewed on one of my O2 wires, the connector that led to the wiring harness was cut off. Went to junkyard, cut off the connector, had it back up running again.
This is one option, another option is to go online and buy a universal pigtail connector that matches the camshaft sensor. Only hard part is wiring it up correctly or you could damage your PCM.
