2009 G37x sedan power issue
Hey guys, I'm new to this thread and was wondering if you guys could help at all. I bought my g37 last year with 84k miles. I currently have 101k on the car. During the winter last year my car would frequently go into limp mode with no codes. The car would also casually stall out when I first started the car. I did some research and cleaned my throttle bodies, bought new maf sensors, and denso spark plugs. After replacing all these parts, the car did not go into limp mode or stall again. Although the car seems to fluctuate in power, sometimes it seems like im driving a civic and will not speed up and sometimes its very fast. I took it to a mechanic and he could not pull any codes or figure out the issue, but he did notice the lag and the lack of power from the car. He suggested it would probably be ignition coils or spark plugs. I bought new ignition coils but have not had time to install them yet. The car two days ago went into limp mode again with no codes. Would bad ignition coils cause this to happen with no engine code? Ive also been able to fill the gas tank only to 3/4 of a tank. Ive noticed that there are issues with certain gaskets that would cause this. I was wondering if there could also be a blockage that could be causing a bad air/fuel mixture and cause the lack in power. I just dont want to bring this to the dealer and spend a ton for no answers.
Anything will help. Thank you
