Custom Grounding Kit 09 Sedan

As a moderator or forum veteran would probably say, I believe this (https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-your-own.html) is what I'm looking for, BUT considering that post is more than 7 years old I was wondering if anybody has found any improvements to the design or a more efficient design. I've seen other guides on Youtube suggest 4 Gauge or even 0 Guage wire but I'm not sure if that size would work on a G in practice and I know the Stillen kit uses 8 Guage so it would make sense that it might be the best size for this task. (I am far from an electrician or an audiophile so maybe I am sounding like a big noob here) I have a Lowes, Walmart and, Home Depot all in my area and figured I would go to Lowes to buy the supplies but if anybody by chance knows an online vendor who sells the parts for cheaper or even the whole kit for a little bit more than it would cost to make it please feel free to post a link.

If you look at he end of that thread three are posts from this year. on the last few pages there are pictures of updated versions which include routing that include wires being run to the TBs. A lot of people use 4 gauge for most of the connections although the 8 gauge seems to be more than enough given that factory grounds are like 18 or 22 gauge. Also some people don't connect to the battery directly as others have reported that it caused some problems with the sensor in the negative battery terminal cable (many people have not reported this issue). The fix to this is to run the wire going to the battery through the middle of the sensor but this wont work on a wire larger than 8 gauge as it wont fit...

all of this should be in that thread...
