Help With Confirming the Coolant Lea

The leak is occurring above the oil pan on the driver's side. From what I found on the forum, it might be the water pump. There seems to be some sort of gasket material poking out from the area if that helps with diagnosing the issue.

The car is a 2012 6mt sedan with 60k miles.

The first image is around the general area looking from the driver's side wheel to the passenger side wheel. The second image is where I believe it's leaking from.

Check all of the small hoses at the top of the car. I have a small leak in one of my hoses. Basically coolant is bleeding out the edge of the hose. This can happen when they get old, and could definitely drip down to that area.

I've looked everywhere in the engine bay around that area and have not found anything. The car at idle doesn't seem to leak as much. A little rev made it start leaking again.

When I had a leak similar to this, turned out one of the clamps just went bad.

Small Update:

I check in the engine bay again around the affected area. Did not find any trace of coolant in the engine bay and anywhere higher than where the picture was taken under the car. No dry coolant on any lines or on the engine.

I took it to the dealership and they said it's the water pump. Parts and labor came out to $2k so I'm just gonna take it to a different shop.

I can recommend Armand Hindrichs, Barker-Cypress at Huffmeister. He's gotten all my business since the dealer screwed up last year.

I have a friend at The Shop Houston. Already have everything scheduled. Just waiting on the water pump.

What is your new shop charging you for the new water pump?

They quoted it for a little over 900. However, I was informed that the leak was from a seal behind the second timing cover so that’ll change.
