Lag/throttle respond issue
So I have a 11 6mt sedan with about 65k miles on it and I recently noticed when my car is running and I try to floor it my RPMs go up but the car doesn't move until it skips a few RPMs. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix the issue ??

Most likely answer.
The best way to test this is to take the car out and lug the engine a little by putting it into a higher gear than necessary. Then you hit the throttle to try to take off in that gear and if the RPMs go up but the car doesn't increase speed then the clutch is on its last legs

Starting from a stop in 3rd gear the car should be difficult to launch - if it slips the clutch is worn. You can drive on a worn clutch for quite a while if you take it easy but it's only a matter of time.

If it's the clutch plate (probably is), your next question is what are you doing to wear out the clutch on a this car after only 65k miles?
Some basic MT advice... always rev match on the downshift, don't take forever on the upshift, don't rest your hand on the shifter while in gear, and don't keep the clutch pedal down while waiting at a light.
Hey, look at it this way: this could be an upgrade opportunity.

Fully disengaging the clutch at a stop light will not wear it out.
However some people have a tendency of riding the clutch. They press the pedal just far enough to where the clutch is not 100% disengaged, but disengaged enough so the car will not move forward.
These are the people you see rocking the car back and forth when stopped at red lights or stop signs.
That is making the clutch slip which will prematurely wear out the clutch.

Everyone thank you for all the advice ! It's def time to up grade but it's bad timing lol
And I think it's resting my foot on the pedal all the time. I catch myself doing that a lot
