who has turbo WITH automatic?

Just semi-idling checking costs/effort/return-on-investment for putting a turbo on the automatic... I had thought other components were also going to have to be changed to deal with the extra torque, but I can't find the past links any more. [just for clarify when I say return on investment, I'm refering to HP-torque per dollar. Not to resale value. . .]

There is no monetary return on investment, only the joy of modding and driving your car. Depending on power levels, most people build the trans past 400 WTQ (which a turbo surprasses easily). Level 10 does an upgrade for 5k. Fast Intentions may do some different components, you would have to speak to them about what they do and what power it can hold reliably.

Level 10 is most likely the way to go. There's others but they have built a member's trans who is putting down 500+ whp and it's going strong. Will probably pop in

I think that pretty much answers my question.... as in, the amount of money I'd put into making this better would approach what I could buy a project car for, alternatively, sell this vehicle, and add in what I would have spent on upgrading the G, and instead have a much more refined project car.

It's pricey and adds up quick. To go past 500whp you'll need to build the transmission. My G is fully built engine/turbos/trans and feels great but it was a pretty penny to get there and a lot of headaches along the way.

Do what makes you happy! I love the CV36 platform and that's why I held on to it. Once I went TT there was no turning back haha.

Yea, I'm looking at mine as a long term investment. I really love the look of this car and plan to hang onto it for 7 years minimum. Will be a long term project car. There's people who drop 40k + on Evos so why not right? Plus, this thing will surprise quite a lot of people with 15k put into it and throwing down 500+Whp

edit - and by investment, no way you will make money back but investing now so I can enjoy this car to the fullest for years.

For 500+whp you're going to be looking at more than $15k if you're doing it right. Think closer to $20k+.

I've got a detailed spreadsheet where I inquired with Kevin from Fast Intentions and helped me answer questions in regards to a potential future build.
