Motor swap help!!!!!!

OK so i have a 2011 G25 sedan with the VQ25HR. I want to put a VQ37HR in there but the only thing is I'm not sure exactly what i need. I know for a fact that its more then just motor, trans, ecu, tcu and a harness. Do i need just those or are there more stuff like the A/C, power steering etc. that i also need to get? Any body know about this or have seen it been done before? Please help and thank you!!

I don't think it's worth all the hassle and stress unless you're putting something like a LS motor inside it LOL

Sell your G25 and buy yourself G37 - it will be cheaper - But that's just my .02

Good luck with your project

I know selling it would be a better option but i have spent alot of money on it already and its my first car. I want to build on that. I finished most of the exterior now its time for power and my best option is to motor swap. I just need to know exactly what i need to swap to a VQ37HR

Well, if you're really set on doing it... maybe you would be better off buying a crashed parts car and pulling everything you need off that. It'll cost less for sure.

If you're going to spend the time, money, and effort that an engine swap requires, swap in a VK56DE rather than a VQ37VHR.

Speaking of swaps, will the GT-R motor fit in the G37?

With enough money and skills, I'm pretty sure it can be done. And it will be named G37 Eau Rouge lol

That will not even fit lol the only reason i want to do the VQ37HR because its like a drop in. No custom fabricating and all that other stuff

But if you looking for a straight drop in then might as well get the g37 like others have mentioned. Zero sourcing, zero down time, zero headache, zero worry. All of your exterior mods can be easily swapped over.

Why put a dated motor in, if you're going through all the hassle? Drop in a VR30TT from the new Q50RS/Q60RS.
