How do you know when your motor mount is failing?

So I made another fast left turn and I heard a clunk, but in the front. So I am wondering if perhaps my motor mount needs to be replace. I figure I will have my mechanic look at the end links and the motor mount.

Thanks.

Your motor flops around like a fish out of water when under load.

Open the hood and start the car. Watch your motor. Firmly hold the brake and shift into drive. Rev the engine repeatedly. If the mount is broken your motor will buck noticeably. Try reverse the same way.

Search for Youtube videos demonstrating this.

Yep. That looks like the mount must be completely gone on the driver side!

Looks like it's gotta dance now.

Yeah, I don't think my car is doing that. Hotchkis Swaybars and new end links might just have to be done. Do the Sways come with Poly Urethane bushings?

Could be diff bushings are worn/shot or the main one is blown.

Yikes, I get the feeling my stuff might look like that, I get the hard lurching in any gear when I let off, mostly in second at low speeds (7AT, manual mode always) I'm gonna wait for the warm weather before I decide to tackle this job.

Nice! at this point I am in no financial position ($30 to my name, oops!) to get this done. Not to mention, I would LIKE to get this done in my driveway, but we'll see how that goes.
