I think what is happening is that oil pressure is low causing the other issue. Maybe get a third opinion from a nissan dealer. They'll be about half the cost of any Infiniti dealer.
I tried asking a couple Nissan dealers and they had not even heard of it. I can think of one more that I forgot about and can try asking them tomorrow...

It's like the Porsche IMS failure. It seems like everyone has the issue if you read it on forums. Actually I can't seem to find the powertrain warranty info on the dealer website. I'll have to give them a call and get that info.
Well, I got the car back last week. First thing I did was pull up if any CEL's remained. P0300 and P0011 still showed up but this time the status was blank unlike before when they were confirmed. P0524 didn't show up at all. I cleared the codes and the have driven it for over 400 miles and nothing has come back yet. The only issue I've noticed is that it looked to idle around 650rpm plus it minus 20rpm but every once in a while it might shoot to 750 and bounce back down. I'm gonna keep an eye on it but it otherwise seems to run fine. Fingers crossed.
