squeaking noise coming from trans
Hey guys,
One year ago I had a shop put in a new act 6puck clutch along with a new act lightweight flywheel, new master and slave cylinder and short shifter. Within 1 year the slave cylinder broke twice so I finally decided to get rid of the 6 puck and go to a full disc act clutch along with a new slave and master cylinder form zspeed. within the one year I did about 30,000 miles on the 6puck clutch and flywheel. When I took the car to the shop I had the guy look at the flywheel before he put the new full disc clutch in and wanted him to tell me if I would of needed to get the flywheel replaced. When he took everything apart he said it wasn't that bad and he just lightly sanded it and slapped my new parts on. So I picked up my car a week ago and when ever I am driving I hear a squeaking noise(like a worn belt would make) coming from my center console, it sounds like its in the trans, this noise gets louder at higher speeds and its there with the clutch engaged or disengaged until I come to a full stop then I goes away, any ideas before a take it back to the shop.

yes it was, the throw out and slave cylinder are one part, im starting to think it might be that, when im driving and put the car in neutral and move the shifter all the way to the left(between 1st and 2nd) the noise gets louder, but if it is the throw out/slave cylinder i don't think I want to buy from zspeed performance again since this would be the 3rd one that's crap but it is under warranty since i bought the clutch master cylinder with it.
