G37x & Stillen long term?
Hello folks,
Was wondering something and would like to get people's take on it. So I have had my G37x for 14 months. I absolutely love everything about it but I don't think I can hold out more too long with personal touches. To date I have added hotchkis sway bar set (MY GOD! What a difference!!) and just got 20's rims (to try to convince myself later to get BBK). So the plan is to keep the car till the odometer resets... And if it's that long term, I'd like it to be even 500HP hence why I'm saving to get the Stillen SC. Given how my ram 1500 almost seized due bad oil pan/pump design, is there any genuine concern a properly maintained & most likely earlier maintenances schedule than most "Leala 500". Although not married still, I think it'd be crazy cool to give this car in mint condition to future son or nephew 17 years from now? I figured since the motor has been out for a while, I should consider any know issues before possibly ruining it...

2 things:
1. You don't need 20s to run a BBK, but if you like the look of the 20s then that is fine.
2. You will not reliably get 500 HP (crank) from the stock Stillen supercharger kit. You will have to run an air to air system cooling system for it. Details over at 370z with the user TopGunz. If you are talking about 500 wheel horsepower then that is going to be pretty hard to get to without upgrading the blower I think.

Agree with the above, The Stillen SC needs HELP to get even close to 500WHP if you'll be happy with 415 or so then keep it in somewhat stock trim, You WILL need to go Air to Air get a tune done( Speed density is the best way).
Reason for the NEED to do AIR to AIR the kit WILL heat soak in like 5 mins , you can do the Frozenboost heat exchanger upgrade but the MAF's are in the wrong spot so the Speed density tune is almost a must!
