please keep us updated. I had temperature go like that on my g35 but my coolant was leaking toward the back of the engine. the next time when you are at idle (home), see if the temperature goes up. if it does, check the reservoir tank: how high the coolant is & if it is bubbling or what not.

Dealer is going after the head gaskets. It's so shocking at 50k miles I don't know what to believe the car runs perfect and no cel lights. They are not sure if it is tho so I don't even know if they should even check I guess they will have the car for a couple of days

I assume they checked compression and leakdown before going after head gaskets? Could also send the oil off for oil analysis and it should come back showing coolant in there if it is the head gasket.

Well guys since the issue is still going on after the head gaskets got replaced I'm getting a new engine just got approved by infiniti under warranty

Same issue
The outcome of this issue sucks. I am having the same issue. Changed the Thermostat but still having the same problem i.e., At idle, the temp goes up with or without A/C on.
