So yesterday I had some free time, so I went and removed all the plugs and cleand them thoroughly with chemicals along with the throttle bodies. And then fired the plugs up with a torch. They're now 80% near new. I had the chance to take some before pics but not after cleaning because it was very late and the phone died on me

Result: I say 85% improvement. Rarely to notice any misfiring or shaking. I wanted to replace all the plugs with new ones but didn't have them in hand at the time and I had to do something in my off days. I will be changing them soon and also inspect the coils.

Pics:

Tell me what you think for only three months plugs!

Engine shakes when the A/C is OFF !!

With AC on ignition timing advances to keep engine torque enough to compensate for parasitic loss. Anyways, leaky cam cover, oil on coils or plug threads?

Nope, there is no leak on cover or any other part on the engine bay. Couple of times the engine oil cooler sandwitch plate leaked but I tightened it up and no leaking since.

Also no oil on the plug threads and coils.

I'm suspecting a bad coil or two. But for the crank sensor, isn't a bad sensor would through a CEL code?

Ok just skimmed through your scan results.Bad O2? Running rich when that happens.plugs look a bit coated . when AC on timing burns more fuel si maybe why it runs smoother.

Bad O2 due to the test pipes. Everytime I reset the ECU, it takes sometime for the CEL to come back again. Weird that it took two days with over 500 mi driving now without throughing the codes. I think the Upstream and downstream O2 sensors are also coated like the plugs or even worse for them to not detect the test pipes quickly.

If you read post #21, I mentioned that I used STP cleaner. Maybe using that cleaner through the brake booster was a bad idea anyway and got the plugs along with the O2 sensors to go bad and making them get bad reading of the burnt mixture hence the off fueling and misfiring.

Just guessing here.

I'm not sure. I will test that tomorrow morning and report back.

It's ok for not reading the whole thread. Your help is appreciated.

What do you mean by live band?
No haven't run a race gas before. Only some homemade toluene mix that I did like 7 months ago and haven't had any problem when I did it. It was only for two gals just for the sake of testing the timing adv.

Yes. I can log data through my EcuTek kit and post it when I have some free time. What parameters are you looking for?

Okay I read your scan reports I didn't see anything about Cylinder 6 misfire maybe I missed it I do however see that it looks like your O2 sensors might be dirty or failing on both Banks. Why are you getting all this dirt in your intake tubes and why did you shoot at STP into a vacuum line
