Can AWD exhaust fit on a RWD car

like title says i want to know if a factory 37 AWD factory exhaust can fit on a RWD car?
i know a RWD probably won't fit on AWD because of case axles and all that other stuff but what about other way around?

long story short, a friend has a GTM TT kit on his sedan(rwd) , crashed it. insurance came friday and want to charge him an arm and a leg to buy it back so they are coming to pick it up monday so we are trying to take as much of the stuff off as we can before they come
i may have access to a oem awd factory exhaust so i was curious if it would fit.

Again: "Yeah man it was like that when I got it!"

Or just tell them it fell off after the crash.
