Need Help from fellow nitrous users
I will be dropping my car off at z1 on May 14th for nitrous install and tune. I have a few questions for those of you who have or have had nitrous on your G37.
-What kit did you choose?
-What shot do you run?
-Did you change the oem spark plugs to one step colder?
-Did you tune with window switch or wot switch?
-Any of you using 7at?
-Any problems?
-How long have you had it?
-MOST IMPORTANLY, how'd it hold up over time?

I've only had my G since Feb so haven't ran nitrous through it yet, but I have ran nitrous in a few cars. I ran a 100 shot for over 5yrs on my old Z. I believe I had FJ cruiser stock plugs which were colder. I ran a window switch. Mine was a 6mt but if I do install my kit in the G it will be a 7at too. I never had problems but there was one time where I did burn the tops of 3 spark plugs right off but still managed a 12.8 in the 1/4 lol. As long as you're smart about it, you will be fine the block can handle the 100 shot no problem. Have an A/F gauge and nitrous pressure. Oh I did have my ecu flashed too.

I'm very curious as well.. With the price of forced induction on these cars, I decided to go with tuning all of my bolt-ons with a 100 wet shot. I was thinking ZEX until I heard about the Z1 kit. I would definitely grab a colder plug and a trans cooler if you're 5AT/7AT but otherwise, I think the car will be just fine as is. Are there any concerns for the plastic manifold pieces? Also, is ECUtek or Uprev better for nitrous tuning?
