Torque App/PLX Kiwi Fuel Trims

I have a question for those of you running torque with PLX Kiwi OBD dongle. I have tried looking at my fuel trims, both long term and short, and am getting no information from them. They show blinking green on the gauges to show that it is getting information from the ECU, but they are flatlined at 0 and show no movement. Has anyone ever looked at the fuel trims from this combination and seen useful data? I am tying to diagnose a rich condition on the car.

At idle, the short term fuel trims should be moving up and down around 1-3%.
Do your fuel trims move at all when driving?

Why do you think you have a rich condition?

Fuel trims show 0 and no movement, but the green light on the gauge for fuel trims is showing it is getting data from the ECU for it. I have been unable to check while driving, but I don't believe they are showing anything. I believe I am rich because the Torque app is reading my AFR measured at idle (I believe from the bank 1 oxygen sensor?) and it is showing between 9.5-12 while idle. Also, I get a nice belch of rich smoke at idle sometimes. With any throttle the AFRs immediately pick up and go closer to 14.

Oh, and the commanded AFR for idle is showing as being 15. So something doesn't appear to be updating. No codes are being thrown, but 0420 and 0430 are turned off due to test pipes.

If your fuel trims are at 0 and don't move, it can be due to the car running in open loop mode, which may be from the codes being turned off.

What does the fuel status PID show?

AFR at idle should be around high 14s, so it does appear to be running rich. Assuming the AFR sensor is functioning properly.

Having said all that, since you have test pipes and "codes turned off" I don't know how the ECU is expected to function. Maybe ask the place that did the reprogramming?

Says it is running in closed loop. I took it to Forged for diagnosis and some other minor things. I will update when they figure out what the issue was.
