Fake sport..

So I guess mine isn't even a "sport" at all. No paddle shift. No wires for it. It says G37S on the back. It's got factory 19" wheels. I guess it is what they call "a sport appearance package". I am soo let down. I mean if you buy an SS camero you know your getting V-8 performance car. I don't understand why infinity would do this.. "It's got the emblems! That'll make it handle better!!" Knew I should've gone with the Audi S5... *sighs*

Just my two cents on the speed of shifts with the paddles; the paddles were surprisingly much faster at shifting than the column was for me and I don't have a grounding kit. Maybe its just my driving style or maybe it has something to do with the heavy duty battery I put in to deal with our freezing temps. I really don't know. YMMV

From what I can tell by measuring w/tape measure over the rim. But it looks like 13" brakes front and back. It's fake I'm sure. It's just the way things have been going for me lately..

It is still a super nice super quick car. Don't get me wrong. But how would you feel if you bought a GT mustang only to find out it has a v6. Just feel let down. But it's my own fault. Should've investigated more before buying...

You can remove this tape to plug and play your shifter kit. Be aware, SOME cars did not have this wiring at all. It depends what harnesses were on the production line that day.
Believe me when I tell you, because I deal with them every day, that there is no randomness to a harness of "it depends what harnesses were on the production line that day" especially in Japan.

Sorry if you've answered this before but:

What year?
Coupe or Sedan?
Packages? Premium, Navi?
Is it an S or xS?
And it's a 7AT?
Can you see on the column where the paddles would mount with the bolt and nut?
Where did you get the kit?

Because according to Infinti:

Fits FOLLOWING MODELS:
ALL INFINITI G35 sedan 07-08
ALL INFINITI G37 sedan 09-up
All G37 Coupe and Convertible (all years)

sorry to hear but on the bright side you probably got a commensurate deal and it can be fun to upgrade along the way the exact features you actually want

My car is a early '10x base. If my car has them they all should have them.

It's a 2008 coupe. It has every premium option except nav. It says G37S on the back. It didn't have a owners manual. It is a 5at. And with the column off it looks like they bolt right on. But no plugs. I haven't received the kit yet. But am getting it from tunerzstore..

Well sh*t that sucks. I just installed a set (different G) and they were each (one on the left and one on the right) all nicely wrapped up in grey foam and bound with tape. The one on the left was wrapped with the electric steering column adjustment harness.
Sorry this happened. Very disappointing. Perhaps the TS will take pity and set it straight.

You can always sell it and make near what you payed for it in my opinion. People jump on these pretty quick in the classifieds esp if it means saving a couple of bucks on a brand new set. Best of luck man and I'm sorry it didn't work out for you.
