Yep, I hear ya. If I can net 50 more whp I will be super happy. And I think it can be done. Many people don't go full N/A because they like the boost bug. And I get that, but I have a SR20 that is half the weight of your fat lady and wanted to go a different route. And honestly I think we can do it in under the price that most TT builds come in at and be just as happy with the results.

2009-2012 FX35
2007-2008 G35X
2009-2010 M35X
2013-Present FX37

And they are all direct swaps. The 3.133 is from a 2007+ EX35 and EX37 AWD models; also direct swaps. I got myself a 2013 FX37 front diff with low miles, checked the ratio: spot on 3.692 exact match with the 2016 A/T NISMO 370z final I got with a LSD. I think I paid at the low end of $500 total for them both, shipped and with fresh seals to put in them.
Has anybody completed this yet on a x? What kind of difference would the 3.35 to 3.69 be? In process of building trans and wondering since it’s out of the car if that would help any on the labor? What would it cost to do this swap? Parts look to be pretty cheap, but sounds like a lot of labor to it.

I explored this a lot last year, bought a 370 stock rear end 3.69(3.70) and its still sitting in my closest.

I gave up when I was told the engine had to be dropped as the front axle goes through the part of the bottom of the block. Never went any further.

Currently doing this now. Bought both front and rear diff from a 2008 g35x on eBay. Even has the correct flange! Rear was $200 shipped and front was $150 shipped. I also bought z1 rear diff kit with the bigger pan, redline 75w90 fluid, whiteline bushing and etc. Quote to remove and install new diff was $300 for each diff to put in. Currently waiting on some parts to come in. Hopefully it’s worth it converting to 3.69 from 3.35. I think it will be!
